A multi-party Indian parliamentarian delegation arrived in New York yesterday to represent the country’s stance at the United Nations General Assembly.
The first batch is being led by BJP MP and Chairperson of the Joint Parliamentary Committee on One Nation One Election, PP Chaudhary. This group, consisting of 15 Members of Parliament from different political parties, will be in New York till the 14th of this month. A second group of 15 MPs is scheduled to attend the UNGA by the end of this month. Earlier, senior leaders like Atal Bihari Vajpayee and LK Advani represented India at the forum.
