The country’s automobile retail sales rose 31.8 per cent year on year to over 25 lakh units in September this year, marking the best-ever first half of fiscal year, according to a report released by the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA).
Passenger vehicle (PV) sales grew 32.1 per cent year on year in September, while commercial vehicle (CV) sales increased 37.6 per cent. Two-wheeler sales jumped 33 per cent, while three-wheeler sales rose 22 per cent over the same period.
