At Wimbledon 2025, World No. 1 Jannik Sinner of Italy will face two-time defending champion Carlos Alcaraz of Spain in the Men’s Singles final at the All England Club this evening. The match is scheduled to begin at 8:30 PM Indian Standard Time. Alcaraz advanced to the final after defeating American Taylor Fritz in the first semifinal, while Sinner overcame Serbia’s Novak Djokovic in the second semifinal clash.

Alcaraz has won each of their last five encounters. However, Sinner did claim victory in their only previous meeting at Wimbledon 2022. In the Women’s Singles, Iga Świątek clinched her maiden Wimbledon title after thrashing Amanda Anisimova in a one-sided final. Poland’s Świątek defeated the American 6-0, 6-0 in just 57 minutes to secure her sixth Grand Slam title and first at Wimbledon. The victory also makes her the first Polish woman to lift the prestigious Venus Rosewater Dish.

Meanwhile, Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool made history by becoming the first all-British pair to win the men’s doubles title at Wimbledon since 1936. The duo defeated Australia’s Rinky Hijikata and the Netherlands’ David Pel in straight sets.
