Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is likely to arrive here in the city on August 19 next. According to sources, the Union Finance Minister will join Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya’s birth anniversary in the city.
She is also expected to chair an administrative meeting at Agartala followed by separate meetings with Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb and other cabinet members.
During her visit state government is likely to submit some proposals for some sanction from her ministry.
