Vijayawada/IBNS: Pawan Kalyan left me and remarried, Renuka Desai, the former wife of the actor-turned-politician, said facing online trolls from her ex-husbands fan.

A war of words broke out on the internet after a fan of Pawan took to Renukas Instagram and suggested to her that she should have been more patient with the actor-politician, who is now the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

The fan wrote in Telugu as quoted by The Indian Express, You should have been more patient, sister-in-law. You misunderstood someone like a god. Perhaps now you realize his worth. But Im glad the kids are with Pawan Kalyan.

In response, Renuka wrote, quoted by the daily, If you had an ounce of intelligence, you wouldnt make such a foolish comment. He was the one who left me and remarried, not the other way around. Please refrain from such comments; they only torment me.

Later, Renuka deleted her comment and disabled the comment section to avoid any further confrontation.

Pawan and Renuka got married in 2009. The couple had their first child- a son- in 2004 and a daughter in 2010.

The couple filed for divorce in 2011 and the process was finalised a year later.

In 2018, Renuka had announced her engagement without revealing the fiances identity
