In response to what they perceive as a disinformation campaign by the opposition CPIM regarding the state’s education system, law enforcement, and healthcare, the Tripura Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) has declared a statewide protest scheduled for the upcoming Saturday.

During a press conference held at the BJP Pradesh office, BJYM spokesperson Amlan Mukherjee emphasized significant advancements in education, healthcare, and law enforcement achieved during the six-year tenure of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government. Mukherjee criticized the CPIM for allegedly spreading misinformation about these improvements.

Mukherjee announced plans for protest rallies to be organized across the state under seven mandals, aimed at countering what they view as misleading propaganda from the opposition. Vice-presidents Viki Prasad, Arunabha Nandi, and Prasenjit Ghosh, along with Secretary Shubhankar Saha, were present at the press conference.

The spokesperson underscored the positive impact of initiatives such as the Vidya Joti scheme on the education sector, citing official records to support the claims. Furthermore, he referenced government data showcasing improvements in healthcare services throughout the state.

Regarding the law-and-order situation, Mukherjee condemned CPIM leaders, asserting that there have been no fatalities resulting from political violence since the current government assumed power.
