Haji Syed Salman Chishty, Gaddi Nashin of Dargah Ajmer Sharif and Chairman of the Chishty Foundation, has been named the Ambassador for the International Day of Living Together in Peace in its seventh edition.
It is observed every year by the member states of the United Nations on May 16.
Chisty said he felt honoured to be named the ambassador.

The UN General-Assembly, in its resolution 72/130, declared 16th May the International Day of Living Together in Peace, he posted on Instagram.
