In Manipur, Chief Minister N. Biren Singh inaugurated the Mini Sports Complex constructed at Akampat of Imphal East district on Friday (15th March 2024). The Mini Sports Complex was constructed at the estimated cost of rupees twenty crore. He also inaugurated a Football Field with RCC Gallery constructed under Khelo India Scheme at an estimated cost of rupees two crore at Chajing of Imphal West district.
Speaking on the occasion, CM Biren said that the Government has been continuing the development activities even during the hard times in Manipur. He also announced that a gallery and boundary wall around the Hockey Stadium will be constructed at the Mini Sports Complex and VIP gallery in the newly inaugurated sports infrastructure.
The Chief Minister also appreciated the Youth Affairs and Sports Department for constructing the Mini Sports Complex properly.
