West Tripura district Magistrate Debapriya Bardhan on Saturday took a review of the preparations at Swami Vivekananda ground where Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally will be held on January 04 next.
District Magistrate said, all preparations are being put in place for a smooth conduct of the Prime Minister’s rally.
He said security arrangements are being prepared as per the standard protocol. Besides, the administration already held several rounds of meeting with the high officials, he said.
The District Magistrate said, as per the capacity of the ground, the administration is expecting gathering of around 25,000 people in the rally.
According to official sources, as per the security protocol, there will be multiple entry gates including one for VIP/VVIPs.
The visitors will not be allowed to enter the ground with water bottles and any hard objects. Besides, wearing of face cover is mandatory for the visitors while taking part in the rally.
It will be the third rally of the Prime Minister at Swami Vivekananda ground, Agartala in recent times.
While Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb himself is monitoring the preparations, the administration is also working on full gear to make the event successful.
