Even as Prime Narendra Modi released the 10th instalment of financial benefit under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme today via video conferencing more than 2 lakhs farmers of the state received the 10th instalment.
According to a PIB press release, 2,17 236 farmers of Tripura were benefitted under the PM-Kisan scheme and a total of Rs 44 crore 76 lakh 66 thousand were transferred to the beneficiaries.
Overall, the Prime Minister transferred an amount of more than Rs. 20,000 crore to more than 10 crore beneficiary farmer families across the country today.
Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb attended the video conference and said, “Much gratitude to the PM for this New Year gift to our farmers, it will surely help them sustain their livelihoods.”
