In a major reshuffle in the police department, the state government has transferred 62 police officers including 27 OCs.
According to the notification, OC Subrata Chakraborty, one of the senior most and experienced Inspectors of the state, has been transferred from Santirbazar to West Agartala police station.
Inspector (in-charge) Rana Chatterjee of Crime Branch has been transferred and posted as OC Airport police station.
Sub Inspector Subir Malakar of Crime Branch has been transferred and posted as OC New Capital Complex police station.
