At least five crew members onboard has been killed in a Pakistani Army helicopter crashed in Chilas, Diamer district of Gilgit-Baltistan today. According to media reports, the helicopter was conducting a test landing on a proposed helipad when it went down. Authorities suspect a technical failure caused the crash. This marks the second fatal military helicopter crash in recent weeks in Pakistan, following a similar tragedy in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bajaur district earlier this month.
