Three-year-old Brinda Nath from North Tripura has entered the India Book of Records as an IBR Achiever 2025 for her extraordinary intelligence—identifying colours, shapes, symbols, and reciting rhymes, months, and numbers beyond her age.
At just three years and four months old, Brinda Nath from Dighalbak area under Dharmanagar subdivision in North Tripura has achieved what many can only dream of — a place in the India Book of Records. Recognised for her remarkable intelligence and cognitive abilities at such a tender age, Brinda has been conferred with the prestigious title of IBR Achiever 2025.
Born on March 19, 2022, Brinda is the only daughter of Neelkantha Nath and Rimpa Nath. Her father, Neelkantha Nath, serves in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and is currently posted in Manipur, while her mother plays an active role in nurturing her child’s early learning and creative development at home.
A Child with Exceptional Learning Skills
Brinda’s achievements have astonished both her family and educators. She has demonstrated abilities that are far beyond her age. According to the official certification from the India Book of Records, Brinda can:
-
Identify 12 different colours and 10 geometric shapes
-
Name 15 animals with accuracy
-
Recall five good habits and the five seasons
-
Recite the names of all 12 months and the seven days of the week
-
Recognise 12 national symbols of India
-
Recite 10 English nursery rhymes from memory
-
Count continuously from 1 to 50 without error
These feats highlight her sharp memory, keen observation, and impressive linguistic development — qualities that usually emerge much later in childhood.
Recognition by India Book of Records
The India Book of Records, one of the country’s most respected platforms for recognising extraordinary talent, officially honoured Brinda for her outstanding performance. After verifying her achievements, the organisation granted the IBR Achiever 2025 title on August 6, 2025, and formally handed over the certificate on August 25, 2025.
This recognition places Brinda among India’s youngest achievers, celebrating her unique combination of intelligence, confidence, and early cognitive skills.
Parents’ Pride and Support
Brinda’s parents expressed immense pride in their daughter’s accomplishments. Her father, despite his demanding duty with the CRPF in Manipur, continues to motivate and encourage her learning. Her mother, Rimpa Nath, dedicates much of her time to guiding Brinda’s daily activities — from reading colourful picture books to engaging her in interactive educational games.
Their shared effort and consistent encouragement have helped Brinda flourish. According to her mother, Brinda began showing signs of advanced memory and recognition skills even before turning two. “She was always curious about everything around her — from colours to shapes and animals. We tried to nurture that curiosity without putting pressure on her,” said Rimpa.
A Rising Star from Tripura
Brinda’s recognition has brought immense pride to the people of North Tripura. The residents of Dharmanagar subdivision, where she hails from, have expressed their admiration for the young prodigy. Many believe her achievement will inspire other parents to recognise and nurture the hidden potential of their children from an early age.
Educationists in the region have also applauded Brinda’s parents for balancing discipline and creativity in her upbringing. “Her success reflects the importance of early childhood engagement and the positive role parents play in shaping a child’s cognitive foundation,” said a local teacher.
Looking Ahead
Though she is only three years old, Brinda’s achievement has already placed her on a promising path. Her parents intend to continue providing a stimulating learning environment without overwhelming her natural curiosity and joy for discovery.
