A standing committee meeting of West Tripura Zila Parishad on education and health at the conference hall of West Tripura Zila Parishad office on December 27. The meeting was presided over by Chairman of standing committee Mithun Chakraborty. An official of Social Welfare and Social Education department in the meeting has informed that LPG connections have been given to total 804 Anganwadi Centres so far out of 985 Anganwadi Centres in West Tripura district.
Apart from that, there are arrangements to deliver ration cards to pregnant ladies and children below 3 years of age to their home through Anganwadi Centres in West Tripura district. An official of Youth Affairs and Sports department in the meeting informed that West Tripura level youth festival will be organised at Muktadhara Auditorium Hall on December 28. State-level Youth festival will be organised at the auditorium hall of Tripura University on December 29 and 30. Others present in the meeting were Sahakari Sabhadhipati of West Tripura Zila Parishad Haridulal Acharjee and officials different departments.
