Various industry bodies praise Free Trade Agreement signed between India and Oman

Various industry bodies have praised the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) signed between India and Oman, calling it a major boost for Indian markets as it is expected to enhance trade, improve market access, and create new opportunities for Indian exporters and businesses. Speaking exclusively to Akashvani, Chandrima Chatterjee, Secretary General, Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI) highlighted the benefits of CEPA for the Indian textile industry. Speaking to Akashvani, Dr. Ranjit Mehta, CEO and Secretary General of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said the India-Oman FTA would bring significant benefits to both countries.
