Minister for Cultural Affairs and Sports Sushanta Chowdhury on Saturday said he met two central ministers- G. Kisan Reddy and Anurag Singh Thakur in New Delhi on Wednesday last.
In his meeting with the Minister of DoNER G. Kisan Reddy, Chowdhury sought support from the central government for setting up a ‘Cultural Hub’ in Tripura.
According to Chowdhury, the Union Minister assured him of extending all necessary support from his ministry.
Addressing a press conference, Chowdhury said, he also met Union Sports Minister Anurag Singh Thakur and held discussions on sports infrastructure in length.
According to Chowdhury, he placed the Detailed Project Report (DPR) to the Union Minister for the development of sports infrastructures in Tripura.
He also mentioned in a Facebook post that the Union Sports Minister gave assurance for providing all possible assistance.
