Union Minister B.L. Verma to Inaugurate 75th Pradhan Mantri Divyasha Kendra in Badaun Tomorrow

Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment B. L. Verma will inaugurate the 75th Pradhan Mantri Divyasha Kendra (PMDK) at Badaun in Uttar Pradesh tomorrow. In a statement, the Social Justice and Empowerment Ministry said that the newly established PMDK at Badaun will provide assistive aids and appliances for Divyangjan and senior citizens under the ADIP Scheme and Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana. Devices including tricycles, wheelchairs, hearing aids, walkers, artificial limbs, and mobility support accessories will be offered free of cost to eligible beneficiaries.
       
Pradhan Mantri Divyasha Kendra is a unique initiative aimed at providing integrated services under one roof, including assessment, evaluation, counseling, distribution, and post-distribution care for eligible Divyangjan and elderly beneficiaries.
