Monsoon Stays Active in Himachal; Heavy Rainfall Alert Issued Till July 20: IMD

The monsoon remains active in Himachal Pradesh, with intermittent rainfall continuing across most parts of the state. The Meteorological Centre Shimla has issued an Orange Alert for heavy to very heavy rainfall in Shimla, Solan, and Sirmaur districts on 15th July.
 
Meanwhile, a Yellow Alert has been issued for Bilaspur, Kangra, Kullu, and Mandi districts for the same day. On 16th July, heavy rainfall is also expected in Una, Chamba, Kangra, Mandi, and Shimla districts. Similarly, on 17th July, there is a warning for heavy rainfall in Una, Chamba, Kangra, Kullu, Mandi, and Sirmaur districts, while on 18th July, a Yellow Alert has been issued for Chamba, Kangra, and Kullu.
 
According to the department, the state may continue to experience heavy rainfall conditions till 20th July.
