The Board of Directors of Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited (TSECL) in their 99th meeting held on Thursday approved the release of further installment of Dearness Allowance (DA) at the rate of 5 per cent over the Basic Pay to its employees those who are in Regular Scale of Pay. 

With the release of this installment with effect from 1st July, 2022, total quantum of DA payable to the regular employees working in TSECL shall stand at 8 per cent over the Basic Pay.

According to a press release, the term ‘Basic Pay’ in the revised pay structure means the pay drawn in the prescribed Level in the Pay Matrix as per Tripura State Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2017 read with its 1st Amendment, 2018 as accepted by the State Government, but does not include any other type of pay like Special Pay, Personal Pay, NPA, Honorarium and any other addition to pay.

In the meeting, the Board of Directors of TSECL also approved to enhance Remuneration/ Wages of Fixed Pay Employees/ DRW/ Part-Time Workers/ Contingent Workers.

Approval towards release of further installment of DA at the rate of 5 per cent over the Basic Pay to the Regular employees and enhancement of remuneration/ wages of the fixed pay employees and other workers prior to upcoming Durga Puja will motivate them for performing their level best to deliver better services to the valued consumers of the Corporation which will in turn propel in improving the overall fiscal status of the Corporation.
