One of the major highlights of her participation at Miss Grand India 2026 was the national costume she presented during the competition. The costume was designed by Tripura-based artist Rohit Debbarma and aimed to showcase the rich culture, traditional craftsmanship, and artistic heritage of Tripura on a national platform.
Her participation in the competition was supported by Totell Fashion, a venture associated with Totell, a startup community based in Northeast India. According to organisers, the initiative continues to encourage talented youth from the region to explore opportunities in fashion, arts, and entrepreneurship.
Speaking on the achievement, Totell co-founder Dr Mughavi A Tuccu said that Hritwika Majumder’s success would inspire aspiring models, students, artists, and young dreamers from Tripura and the wider Northeast region.
