Tripura’s financial budget for 2025-26 has been lauded as a progressive step towards economic growth and inclusive development. MP Biplab Kumar Deb on Friday praised the BJP-IPFT-Tipra Motha coalition government for presenting what he described as a “developed budget.”

The budget allocation for the new financial year stands at ₹32,423.44 crore, marking an approximate 20% rise from the previous year’s ₹27,804.67 crore. Deb emphasized that this increase reflects the government’s commitment to uplifting marginalized communities.

“This budget is designed for the comprehensive growth of Tripura, ensuring that all sections of society benefit from it,” Deb stated. He credited the dedication of the cabinet, led by Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha, for the well-structured financial plan.

A key highlight of the budget is the announcement of an additional 3% dearness allowance for government employees and teachers. “This is a significant move that acknowledges the hard work of government employees,” Deb remarked.

He also extended his congratulations to Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, and the cabinet for their efforts in shaping a budget aimed at strengthening Tripura’s economy.
