Tripura students from Tripura Institute of Technology secure second place in the Design for Bharat track at Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026, showcasing innovation, creativity, and youth leadership on a prestigious national platform.
Tripura has once again earned national recognition as three talented students from the Tripura Institute of Technology (TIT), Narsingarh, secured the second position in the prestigious “Design for Bharat” track at the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026, held in New Delhi. The achievers—Anjita Paul, Himadrita Das, and Janmajoy Das—stood out among thousands of participants with their innovative thinking, creative solutions, and strong vision for a developed India.
The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026 took place at the iconic Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from January 9 to January 12, 2026, marking the grand national finale of one of India’s largest youth engagement initiatives. The programme witnessed overwhelming participation, with more than 50 lakh young individuals from across the country taking part in the multi-stage selection process. From this vast pool, only 1,500 young leaders were shortlisted to present their ideas at the national-level dialogue.
The event aimed to provide a powerful platform for India’s youth to share innovative ideas aligned with the national vision of “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India), as envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Participants competed across several thematic tracks focusing on innovation, sustainability, governance, technology, and nation-building. The “Design for Bharat” track, in which the Tripura students excelled, emphasized creative problem-solving and design-led solutions to address India’s developmental challenges.
The dialogue featured engaging thematic sessions, idea presentations, and interactive discussions with domain experts, policymakers, ISRO astronauts, and renowned sports personalities. These interactions offered young leaders valuable insights into leadership, innovation, and national development. The presence of the Prime Minister at the closing ceremony further highlighted the importance of youth participation in shaping India’s future.
Congratulating the achievers, Tripura’s Minister for Power, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Ratan Lal Nath, extended his heartfelt wishes.
