Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb led the state in remembering the Pulwama martyrs on Monday. As many as 40 CRPF troopers were killed on this day in 2019 when terrorist launched a suicide attack in the Lethpora area of Pulwama district on the Jammu-Srinagar highway .
The Chief Minister in a tweet said, “Remembering the brave-hearts who martyred in the cowardly Pulwama terror attack 2019. The supreme sacrifice of our brave Jawans will always be remembered and will inspire many to devote their lives to the service of the nation. Shat Shat Naman!”
The CRPF 124 battalion at Shalbagan near Agartala paid homage to the slain CRPF jawans today.
Commandant of the Battalion Mukesh Tyagi at Shalbagan led the others and jawans in paying tributes to the martyrs.
The soldiers including the Commandant of the battalion paid homage to the martyred CRPF jawans and laid wreaths.
