Tripura’s Power and Agriculture Minister Ratan Lal Nath visited Tripura Sundari Temple with Mohanpur public representatives, offering prayers for peace, prosperity, and state welfare. The delegation spent time in meditation, marking the first official use of the temple’s meditation centre.

Power and Agriculture Minister Ratan Lal Nath visited the revered Tripura Sundari Temple on Wednesday, accompanied by the Pradhan, Upa-Pradhan, and Panchayat Samiti members from all 20 Gram Panchayats under the Mohanpur block. The visit was organised with the collective intention of seeking divine blessings for the welfare, peace, and prosperity of the people of Tripura.

During the visit, the Minister and the public representatives offered prayers to Maa Tripura Sundari, a deity deeply revered across the state. They toured the temple premises and observed the spiritual atmosphere that draws thousands of devotees every year. Nath stated that praying together with local representatives strengthened their shared commitment toward serving the people more effectively.

The delegation also spent time inside the temple’s meditation centre, a tranquil space designed for spiritual reflection. According to temple authorities, this was the first time the meditation centre had been used officially. Several members read passages from the Bhagavad Gita, while others engaged in silent prayer and contemplation. The Minister noted that the meditation centre provided a serene environment that encouraged inner peace and clarity of purpose.

Reflecting on the visit, Nath said, “Arriving at the temple at daybreak felt like responding to a divine call. Standing with public representatives and praying for the well-being of every resident of our state was a deeply humbling experience.” He added that the peaceful ambience of the temple reminded everyone of the responsibilities that come with public service.

The Minister emphasised that devotion and governance share a meaningful connection, as both require sincerity, dedication, and a commitment to the greater good. “May light overcome every form of darkness and bring harmony to all hearts,” he remarked, expressing hope for unity and progress in Tripura.
