A preparatory meeting was held at Teliamura Sub-Divisional Office for upcoming State-Level Hornbill Festival.
The meeting was presided over by Sabhadhipati of Khowai Zila Parishad Joydeb Debbarma. It was decided in the meeting that the State-Level Hornbill Festival will be conducted at Baramura (Hathai Kotor) Eco Park on March 13. A management committee and 6 sub-committees were formed for conducting the programme successfully.
Sabhadhipati of Khowai Zila Parishad hoped for everyone’s cooperation and for the success of the programme. Others present in the meeting were MLA Dr. Atul Debbarma, Chairman of Teliamura Municipal Council Rupak Sarkar, Teliamura ADM Shirshendu Debbarma, Forest Officer, Khowai district and District Police Officer Amitabh Pal.
