Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to maintaining zero tolerance against corruption while attending the 120th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program at Booth No. 10 (City Center) of Town No. 8 Baradowali Mandal today.

Dr. Saha expressed his enthusiasm for the program, stating, “We eagerly wait for PM Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ as it brings forward many unknown aspects from across the country. The program not only covers India but also significant global events. Today, PM Modi mentioned receiving greetings for Poila Boishakh in various forms, reflecting the unity in diversity of our nation.”

He further highlighted PM Modi’s emphasis on the Para Games, acknowledging the government’s unprecedented efforts for Divyangjans. “Many athletes are setting records in various sports, and our state and central governments are working tirelessly for their welfare,” Dr. Saha noted.

Additionally, he mentioned PM Modi’s ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ initiative and recalled that a student from South Tripura had the opportunity to meet the Prime Minister through the program. “When PM Modi hears about Tripura, he feels delighted. The student even mentioned that he did not have to pay any money to meet PM Modi, reinforcing the PM’s strict stance against corruption. Our government also follows the same principle of zero tolerance against corruption,” he asserted.

Dr. Saha also shared insights from his discussion with the MOHAN Foundation, emphasizing the importance of organ donation. He urged citizens to come forward for organ donation and encouraged public representatives to raise awareness on the issue.

Animal Resource Development and SC Welfare Minister Sudhangshu Das was also present during the event.
