Dhiman Ghosh, a distinguished author from Tripura, has been honoured with the prestigious Legacy of Literature Award 2025 along with the Sahitya Sparsh Award, marking a significant achievement for the state’s literary community. The awards were presented in New Delhi by the reputed platforms Books of Journal and Literature Time in recognition of his outstanding contribution to spiritual and inspirational literature.

The honour was conferred for his acclaimed book “Silent Seer”, a profound spiritual work that interprets the timeless wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita for contemporary readers. The book has been widely praised for its clarity, depth, and universal relevance, earning recognition as one of the most impactful inspirational publications of 2025.

Dhiman Ghosh is currently employed in the information technology sector outside Tripura, balancing a professional career with deep scholarly pursuits. He is an alumnus of the Mechanical Engineering Department of the National Institute of Technology, Agartala (NITA). Despite his technical background, Ghosh has dedicated more than two decades to the in-depth study of the philosophy and teachings of the Bhagavad Gita.

In Silent Seer, Ghosh presents selected verses of the Gita in simple, lucid English, making ancient spiritual concepts accessible to modern readers across linguistic and cultural boundaries. Each Sanskrit verse has been carefully transliterated into English, followed by clear explanations that maintain academic integrity while adhering to international literary standards.

The book focuses on helping individuals navigate the complexities of everyday life, offering guidance on overcoming fear, anxiety, sorrow, and inner conflict. Through relatable examples and a structured question-and-answer format, the author explores profound themes such as life, death, rebirth, suffering, and self-realisation. Readers are encouraged to remain mentally balanced and emotionally resilient, regardless of success or failure.

Due to its universal appeal, Silent Seer has inspired readers from diverse backgrounds and has received appreciation from several renowned saints, scholars, and spiritual thinkers. The book has been showcased and sold at major literary events, including book fairs at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi and Pune, reflecting its growing national presence. It is also currently available at the Chetana Sevashram Book Stall at the Agartala Book Fair in Hapania.

A resident of Agartala, Dhiman Ghosh is a former student of Netaji Subhash Vidyaniketan. He is the son of Pramodlal Ghosh and Chintamani Ghosh of Krishnanagar Old Kalibari Lane, Agartala, and is married to Labani Ghosh.

The achievement has brought pride to Tripura, as one of its sons has earned national recognition for contributing meaningfully to India’s literary and spiritual heritage.
