Tripura Agriculture Minister Ratan Lal Nath chaired his first meeting as Dhalai district Guardian Minister, unveiling a comprehensive development roadmap focused on employment, education, healthcare, agriculture, infrastructure, and transparent delivery of government welfare schemes to ensure inclusive and sustainable growth across the district.
Tripura Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Ratan Lal Nath on Thursday chaired his first administrative meeting as the Guardian Minister of Dhalai district at the District Magistrate’s office, outlining a comprehensive roadmap aimed at accelerating the district’s overall development through coordinated governance and effective implementation of welfare initiatives.
Addressing senior district officials, the Minister emphasized that the government’s primary objectives are to achieve economic self-reliance, generate employment opportunities, and establish an environment that supports sustainable development across Dhalai district. He said the administration is committed to ensuring balanced growth by strengthening key sectors that directly impact the lives of citizens.
During the meeting, Nath highlighted that special attention would be given to improving the quality of education and healthcare services throughout the district. He also directed officials to prioritize the development of drinking water supply systems, agriculture, rural and urban infrastructure, electricity services, and the overall efficiency of public service delivery.
The Minister instructed the district administration to ensure that the benefits of various government welfare schemes reach people residing in even the remotest villages of Dhalai. Stressing the importance of transparency and accountability, he directed officials to implement welfare programmes in a time-bound and transparent manner so that eligible beneficiaries receive government support without unnecessary delays.
Highlighting the guiding philosophy of the state government, Nath said the administration is working in accordance with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas.” He noted that this vision continues to guide developmental initiatives across Tripura, with an emphasis on inclusive growth and equal opportunities for all sections of society.
The Minister further stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, the state government remains committed to taking Dhalai district to new heights of development by strengthening governance, improving public infrastructure, and expanding welfare services.
“The welfare, prosperity, and overall progress of every resident of Dhalai remain our highest priority,” Nath said while urging officials to work with dedication and coordination to achieve the district’s development goals.
The meeting reviewed the status of ongoing developmental projects and discussed future priorities aimed at enhancing administrative efficiency and public service delivery. Officials from various government departments shared updates on existing schemes and upcoming initiatives to support the district’s growth.

Among those present at the meeting were Dhalai Zilla Sabhadhipati Sustrata Das, the District Magistrate, senior district officials, and representatives from various government departments, who participated in discussions on strengthening governance and ensuring the effective implementation of development programmes across the district.
