Treesa Jolly, Gayatri Gopichand clinch bronze at BWF World Championships

In the BWF Badminton World Championships, India’s Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand clinched a historic bronze medal after bowing out in the women’s doubles semi-final against top seeds and defending champions Liu Sheng Shu and Tan Ning at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi. The Indian duo took the opening game 21-18, but the Chinese pair bounced back to win the next two games 21-13 and 21-8.
