Teachers’ Recruitment Board of Tripura (TRBT) is readying to appoint as many as 230 graduate teachers. The Board on Friday issued a notification inviting applications for Selection Test of 230 Graduate Teachers (for Class- IX and X) under the School Education department.
Indian Nationals having permanent residence in Tripura and required qualifications may apply online for the Selection Test of Graduate Teacher (STGT) through www.trb.tripura.gov.in with effect from 4 PM of July 21 next. The last date for submission of online application is July 30 (till 4 PM).
The 230 posts included 29 UR, 29 SC and 172 ST. Nine posts are reserved for PH category (blind and low vision-3, partially deaf or hard of hearing- 3 and locomotor-3). Four posts are reserved for Ex-servicemen (UR-2, SC-1, ST- 1).
According to the notification, all posts are regular and the probation period is two years. The 33 percent wen reservation policy of the government will be followed in both reserved and unreserved categories.
The selection test will be held on September 11, 2022 (Sunday). The aspirants may visit the TRBT’s official site for detailed notification including qualification.
In the meantime , the opposition Left Front’s youth wing DYFI opposed the state government’s ‘out sourcing policies and challenged the education Minister Ratan Lal Nath’s recent figures of recruitments.
DYFI secretary Nabarun Deb secretary Nabarun Deb said, “The education minister is misleading and cheating the unemployed youths of the state in the name of recruitments.”
“The figures of recruitments already done by him were all concocted and incorrect. We challenge him to come out with the details of the recruitments he was talking about”, Deb said.
What is more, Deb pointed out, the education Minister included in his figures the recruitments that had been done by outsourcing and it even included the recruitment of SPO jawans who are not under regular pay scale, the DYFI leader said.
“At a time when the BJP government had failed to meet their pre-poll promises of offering 50,000 jobs, the state’s Education Minister is now indulging in giving fake facts to the people of this state,” he said.
Deb said, soon after forming government in Tripura BJP in the name of new recruitment policy had cancelled at least 16,000 employment that had been put in the pipeline by the then Left front government.
