In a move to bolster the party’s organizational strength, Tripura Pradesh Congress initiated a month-long door-to-door campaign on Friday, aimed at connecting with the common people of the state in anticipation of the upcoming crucial Lok Sabha polls.

Pradesh Congress President Asish Kumar Saha spearheaded the initiative by visiting various residences in the Town Bordowali assembly constituency. During interactions with reporters, Saha highlighted the failures of the BJP-led government, both at the central and state levels.

Saha stated, “The public outreach program undertaken by Tripura Pradesh Congress is designed to apprise the citizens of the state about the failures of the BJP-led government.” He emphasized concerns such as public safety, escalated prices of essential commodities, rampant corruption across government departments, economic disruptions, unemployment, and other issues that have collectively impacted the well-being of the common people.

The Congress has outlined a total of 17 points against the BJP government, underscoring its perceived shortcomings over the past six years. Saha emphasized that the public outreach campaign, integrated as part of a broader revival strategy, would coincide with a membership drive to attract more individuals to join Tripura Congress.

Encouraging citizens to critically analyze the 17 points raised against the BJP, Saha urged active participation to challenge the ruling party and contribute to the establishment and strengthening of democracy in the state. The month-long campaign serves as a proactive measure by the Tripura Pradesh Congress to engage with the electorate, address their concerns, and build momentum in the run-up to the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
