Tripura Police has announced a series of awards and recognitions ahead of the ‘Police Week 2025’ celebrations, set to take place on January 16 at the Manoranjan Debbarma Smriti Stadium, A.D. Nagar police line. The awards honor exemplary contributions by police personnel and units across various categories for the year 2024.

1. Policeman of the Year 2024:

   • Dhruba Nath, Addl. SP, West Tripura (Rural), for his exceptional dedication to police service.

2. Best Investigator 2024:

   • Sub Inspector Sanjay Majumder, OC of Damcherra police station, North Tripura district, recognized for his investigative excellence. He is also set to receive the DGP’s Commendation Disc.

3. Lifetime Achievement Award:

   • Kajal Ghosh, Retired Inspector, honored as the Lifetime Achiever of Tripura Police for 2024.
