Held at the Bir Bikram Memorial College conference hall on Sunday, the seminar provided a platform for scholars and educators to delve into the nuances of the NEP and its implications for Tripura’s education sector.

Distinguished guests, including Prof. Dr. Yogesh Pratap Singh, Vice Chancellor of National Law University, Tripura; Dr. Alak Bhattacharjee, Senior Professor at Tripura University; and Dr. Nirmal Bhadra, Principal of MBB College, graced the event with their expertise.

The seminar, structured into four sessions, facilitated insightful discussions on the implementation and potential impact of NEP 2020 in Tripura. Sumon Ali, Secretary of the Tripura NET-SLET-Ph.D. Forum, emphasized the seminar’s objective of thoroughly analyzing the policy’s various dimensions. “Through meticulous research and analysis, we aim to provide valuable insights and recommendations to the state education department,” Mr. Ali stated.

The forum intends to compile a comprehensive report summarizing key points and suggestions discussed during the seminar. This report aims to serve as a guiding document for strengthening Tripura’s education system and enhancing the overall learning experience for students.
