Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu commends Central Govt's efforts for Divyangjan welfare

Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu praised the central government's commitment to improving the livelihoods of Divyangjan (persons with disabilities) across the country.
The Governor, alongside Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Pratima Bhaumik, attended the closing ceremony of the Divya Kala Mela in Agartala, organized by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
Addressing the gathering, Governor Nallu highlighted the government's dedication to the principle of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Biswas, and Sabka Prayas' under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership. He acknowledged various initiatives undertaken by the central government for the welfare of Divyangjan.
Governor Nallu commended the National Divyangjan Finance and Development Corporation (NDFDC) for providing a unique platform for Divyang entrepreneurs and artisans from across the nation to showcase their products and craftsmanship.
Union Minister Pratima Bhaumik highlighted plans to establish four additional district Disability Rehabilitation Centers in the state, underscoring the government's commitment to expanding support infrastructure for Divyangjan. She announced provisions for loans under various projects aimed at fostering self-reliance among Divyangjans.
During the closing ceremony, certificates, smartphones, and loan approvals were distributed among the Divyangjans, reflecting the government's efforts to enhance opportunities and support for persons with disabilities.
