
Forensic University in Tripura soon : Pratima

Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Pratima Bhowmik said a sanction has been given for setting up a Forensic University in the State. Speaking after a felicitation programme at Khowai on Tuesday, Bhowmik also exuded confidence that Tripura would emerge as one of the important business hubs in South-East Asia.
In the programme, secretary of Tripura Sports Council Amit Rakshit, member of Khowai Zila Parishad Subrata Majumder and other dignitaries were present.
On the second day of her ‘Jan Ashirvad Yatra’, Bhyowmik visited Khowai, Kalyanpur and Teliamura. She visited MahadevBari Ashram in Khowai and Ashram authority also felicitated her.
Referring to Prime Minister’s Digital India concept, Pratima Bhowmik said, we have come to understand about the farsightedness of the Prime Minister and his digital India vision during the Covid Pandemic as bank accounts opened under the Pradhan mantra Jan Dhan Yojana played a crucial role during the pandemic.
Our Kalyanpur correspondent adds: A felicitation programme was held for the Central Minister Pratima Bhowmik at Kalyanpur by several organizations including the Kalyanpur Press Club. MLAs Pinaki Das Chowdhury, Kalyani Roy and other BJP leaders including Amit Rakshit were present in the programme. Speaking on the occasion, Bhowmik highlighted Modi-led Government’s welfare measures and plans. Later, she laid the foundation stone of market stalls near Kalyanpur School.
Our Teliamura correspondent adds: Amidst huge applause, Pratima Bhowmik arrived at Teliamura on Tuesday. Along with the local people, BJP leaders including MLA Dr Atul Debbarma gave a rousing welcome to Bhowmik. Several organizations including the Teliamura press club felicitated the Union Minister. Addressing the gathering, Bhowmik highlighted pro-people activities of the Modi-Government. She also urged people to be united and work to make ‘Ek Tripura, Shrestha Tripura’.
