CM visits storm affected villagers , assures all help

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha visited Lembutali village in the Kamalasagar assembly constituency of Sepahijala District, which bore the brunt of a devastating cyclone. Dr. Saha, accompanied by local administration officials, visited the affected area on Monday to assess the extent of damage and extend support to the victims.
During his visit, Dr. Saha assured the affected families of comprehensive assistance, reaffirming the government's commitment to stand by them in their time of need. Interacting with the affected individuals, he offered words of solace and pledged to mobilize resources to aid in their recovery efforts.
The cyclone, which struck the state in the early hours of Sunday, wreaked havoc, causing extensive damage to numerous houses across the region. Despite his demanding schedule amidst the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, Dr. Saha prioritized the welfare of the affected populace, underscoring his administration's proactive approach to crisis management.
Dr. Saha emphasized the urgency of addressing the plight of affected families beyond Lembutali village. He instructed administrative officials to utilize the Disaster Management fund to provide immediate relief to those in distress. Moreover, he urged all citizens to rally together in support of the affected families, emphasizing the collective responsibility to mitigate the impact of the disaster.
Accompanying Dr. Saha on his visit were MLA Antara Sarkar Dev and other leaders, alongside government officials, signaling a unified effort to address the aftermath of the cyclone and alleviate the suffering of affected communities. The presence of local representatives underscored the government's concerted response to the crisis, reflecting a commitment to swift action and compassionate governance in times of adversity.
