Based on the inputs shared by central intelligence agencies,  Police on Saturday late night arrested three persons in suspicion of having links with Bangladesh terrorist outfit—Jamaat Ul Mujahidein Bangaldesh (JMB).

All the arrested persons were later produced before Sepahijala district court with a prayer of police remand but the Court sent the suspects to Jail custody till April 07 next, said police.

The suspects—Imran Hossain (24), Abul Kashem (32) and Hameed Ali (34) hail from the same village—that comes under the jurisdiction of Jatrapur police station. They had been apprehended by the police late on Saturday night from their village—Khadyokhola and shifted to Bishalgarh police station for questioning.

According to police sources, two active JMB terrorists were arrested in Bhopal last month. During their interrogation, the name of Imran was disclosed before the central intelligence agency. Subsequently, late on Saturday night Imran was detained for interrogation and names of Hameed and Abul were revealed during Imran’s grilling. A team of central intelligence also joined the interrogation, sources added.

Several sections of IPC and Unlawful Activities Prevention Act had been implicated against the arrested trio.
