Three persons died in road accidents in three incidents on Saturday across the state. While one 45 years old Jiban Tripura , a resident of Gandhipara at Matai under Belonia died in Santirbazar when the vehicle in which he was traveling met with an accident at  Garddang Bazar. The vehicle was on a high speed and the accident happened as the driver lost control while negotiating a curve. The truck fell on to roadside crop field—in the mishap Tripura died on spot.

In South Tripura again, at Birchandra Manu one biker Sukumar Debbarma died when his bike and a lorry met with a head-on collision. The incident took place near Taikarma Holycross School  area. Seriously  wounded Sukumar was taken to  Santirbazar District Hospital. But he succumbed soon after reaching the hospital.  

In another accident, nineteen years old Sagar Pal (19) died after when he riding a bike in breakneck speed crashed onto an electric post at Kathalia Bazar. Abhijit Das , who was in pillion of the same bike was also grievously wounded and had to be admitted in GB Hospital in critical condition. Sagar,a resident off Kali Krishnagar Panchayat area died on way to hospital.

Both Sagar and Abhijit were returning home after attending a cultural programme on Friday night.

Locals rushed to the spot and found  the two youths lying on road and were unconscious. The local residents then took them both to  Kanthalia hospital. But since their condition was serious they were referred to GB Hospital. However, on way to Agartala Sagar succumbed to his injuries.
