Amidst many of the first-ever happenings, people of the State are set to witness for the first time a much famed TEDx event that uncovers new ideas worth to be spreading across the globe.
The TEDx event in Tripura is the first of its kind and first-ever youth-led TEDx event in North East India will be held at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan in Agartala on November 20 next. The event will commence at 4 PM onwards.
Agartala Events For You, a venture of TOTELL, a start-up community of Tripura is managing the programme.
The theme of the event is “Take the Leap”. The theme advocates Changes that take place in one’s life, which have a very positive and lucrative effect.
“Every individual faces some kind of an obstacle to take the leap of change, be it financial or psychological. Our theme brings forward such problems and solutions to tackle them.
As a result, we have invited distinguished speakers not only from Tripura but also from different corners of the world to share their journeys of life and their ideas with relevance to our theme”, a press release from TEDxYouth@RonaldsayRoad read.
TED Conferences LLC is an American media organization based in New York that posts talks online for free distribution under the slogan “ideas worth spreading”.
TEDx is a grassroots initiative, created in the spirit of TED’s overall mission to research and discover “ideas worth spreading.”
TEDx brings the spirit of TED to local communities around the globe through TEDx events. These events are organized by passionate individuals who seek to uncover new ideas and to share the latest research in their local areas that spark conversations in their communities.
TEDx events include live speakers and recorded TED Talks, and are organized independently under a free license granted by TED.
These events are not controlled by TED, but event organizers agree to abide by TED’s and are offered guidelines for curation, speaker coaching, event organizing and more.
TEDxYouth@RonaldsayRoad (TEDxYouthRSR) is one such recognized event that will be organized under the approved TEDx license.
