An evening of music, Sur Sangam, was organised by Lanka Indian Oil Corporation at Colombo in Sri Lanka on Friday. On the occasion, renowned Bollywood singer Richa Sharma sang several melodious songs. The event was graced by High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka Santosh Jha as well as members of the Indian community in Colombo. Mr. Jha emphasised the contribution of the Indian Energy PSU to the Sri Lankan fuel ecosystem while speaking about the future of India Sri Lanka relations.
The Indian fuel company also donated dialysis machine to National hospital of Sri Lanka making it the 22nd such machine donated by it under its CSR initiative.
Operating for the last 23 years, Lanka IOC is the first private entity in the Sri Lankan fuel industry which helped the island during the economic crisis of 2022 in meeting the nation’s energy demands.
