In Maharashtra, six people were killed and one person was seriously injured in an accident that occurred late last night on the Georai-Beed highway.
The incident occurred when an SUV hit a divider along the highway.
Although no injuries were reported from the initial collision, the situation quickly turned fatal.
As the passengers stepped out of the vehicle to remove the SUV from the divider, a speeding truck crashed into them, killing six individuals instantly.
Beed Superintendent of Police, Navneet Kanwat has said that further investigation is underway.
