In Shooting, India’s Sainyam won the silver medal in the women’s 10-meter air pistol event at the ISSF World Cup in Hangzhou, China, opening the country’s medal account at the tournament.
The 22-year-old shooter scored 243.4 in the final to secure a podium finish against a strong international field. Suruchi Inder Singh also reached the eight-shooter final and finished seventh with a score of 137.6.
