Even as the Tripura police is celebrating Police Week Sepahijala district has been adjudged as best police district for the year 2021 and Mungiakami police station has been selected as best police station.
While North Tripura has been adjudged best police district for Prayas, 10th-Bn TSR has been awarded as best TSR battalion.
SDPO Jirania Suman Majumder has been declared the policeman of the year- 2021.
As part of observance of Tripura Police Week, the awards will be presented at Manoranjan Debbarma Smriti Stadium, AD Nagar Police Line on January 10 next. The ‘Police Week Parade-2022’ will be held on the same day.
Tripura Police has initiated various programmes to observe the Police Week. The programmes included friendly cricket matche with media persons, felicitation of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas bike rally contingent, blood donation camp, sit and draw competition, swachh bharat abhiyan, donation to old-age home/ orphanage and debate competition.
