Benchmark domestic equity indices, the Sensex and the Nifty, were trading around 0.8 per cent up in forenoon trade today. The Sensex surged 687 points to 84 thousand 559, while the Nifty added 202 points to 25 thousand and 897, when reports last came in. On the sectoral front, IT, Auto, and Services were among the top gainers.
