Most Asian stock markets closed in positive territory today. South Korea’s Kospi index surged around 1.1 per cent, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index increased over 0.8 per cent, Singapore’s Straits Times Index 0.6 per cent, Japan’s Nikkei 225 index climbed over 0.4 per cent. Conversely China’s Shanghai Composite Index dipped marginally.
Major European indices were trading mixed today. Germany’s DAX moved over one per cent up, France CAC 40 climbed one per cent, while London’s FTSE 100 dipped almost 0.2 per cent , when reports last came in.
