Sensex Falls 304 Points, Nifty Ends Below 23,500

Benchmark domestic equity indices ended with moderate losses today. The BSE Sensex dropped 304 points to close at 74 thousand 346. The NSE Nifty slipped 78 points to settle at 23 thousand and 406. The broader market at the National Stock Exchange also ended in negative zone. The Midcap 100 index fell over 0.4 per cent, and the Smallcap 100 index dipped 0.1 per cent.
