Sensex falls 286 points, Nifty drops 77 as realty, metal, private banks drag markets –

The benchmark domestic equity indices, Sensex and Nifty, were trading around 0.3 per cent down in the forenoon trade today, dragged by realty, metal and private bank sectors. The 30-share BSE Sensex lost 286 points, to 83 thousand 773, and the NSE Nifty50 dropped 77 points, to 25 thousand 561, when reports last came in.
