Premier coaching institution of the state School of Science on the occasion of Teachers’ Day felicitated and gave Scholarship to the 2020 All India level Entrance Exams qualified students at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan on Sunday.
Students who succeeded in those exams shared their experiences with the School of Science and conveyed gratitude to all the teachers of School of Science. Their parents also attended the programme and shared their view.
Among others, Abhijit Battacharya, Director and founder of School of science, and other faculties of School of Science remained present in the programme.
Addressing the students present in the programme, SoS Director said, “It is a long journey of almost three decades since when school of science started imparting coaching for joint entrance exams. It is the oldest one and the biggest entrepreneur of North-east. School of Science provides free coaching to around 60 percent of its students.”
More than 461 students qualified for the Medical entrance exam and 445 students qualified in the Engineering entrance exam till today from School of Science.
Earlier in a programme speecheswere given by Sekhar Datta eminent journalist, Sankar Debnath IPS, Manas Pal senior journalist and Jayanta Debnath, Senior journalist to the TCS TPS aspirants who qualified in the written examinations.
