Under the Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme, an amount of Rs. 231 crore has been disbursed to as many as 61,649 MSME accounts in Tripura.
The update came in a tweet from Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s office on Saturday. The scheme aims at helping MSMEs through emergency credit.
“So far Rs 231 crore have been disbursed to 61,649 MSME accounts in Tripura under the Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme. The loans under this scheme are 100% guaranteed by the Central Government,” the tweet said.
A separate tweet said, under the first and second phase (April-November 2020) of Prime Minister Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, 94,893 MT of foodgrains have been provided to 23.73 lakh beneficiaries and 4,420 MT of pulses/chana to 5.40 lakh beneficiaries in Tripura.

Under third phase of PMGKAY, 12,107 MT of foodgrain was provided to 24.21 lakh beneficiaries in May 2021, 12,134 MT to 24.26 lakh beneficiaries in June, 12,126 MT to 24.25 lakh beneficiaries in July and 6,493 MT to 12.98 lakh beneficiaries in August (as on Aug 12) in Tripura, according to the tweet.
