Actor Ritwik Bhowmik has urged India’s youth and common citizens to take control of power amid nationwide political protests, saying “Enough is enough.” His Instagram message calls for honesty, patience, education, and active leadership to reshape the nation’s future.

Actor Ritwik Bhowmik has voiced his strong views on the ongoing political unrest across the country, urging India’s youth and the common people to take greater responsibility in shaping the nation’s future. The actor, who was last seen in the streaming series Khakee: The Bengal Chapter, shared an emotional and thought-provoking message through his Instagram Stories on Wednesday, calling for a shift in power from political establishments to ordinary citizens.

In his lengthy statement, Bhowmik expressed concern over the growing political divisions and the impact they have had on the country’s younger generation. According to the actor, political parties have once again become consumed by attacking one another while the aspirations and emotions of ordinary citizens continue to be ignored.

He wrote that politics has repeatedly failed to prioritize humanity, adding that young people have often become victims of political agendas rather than beneficiaries of meaningful governance. Describing the situation as “a shame,” Bhowmik said the voices of India’s youth have been used, ignored, and manipulated by those in positions of authority.

The actor also reflected on what he believes is a global issue, stating that young individuals frequently face pressure to compromise, conform, or align themselves with powerful groups in order to be acknowledged. He argued that those in power fear the honesty, fresh ideas, and independent thinking of the younger generation.

Expressing confidence in the country’s youth, Bhowmik declared that they possess the potential to bring meaningful change if they remain determined and united. He encouraged young citizens to stop either idolizing or fearing political power and instead aspire to attain positions where they can make positive decisions for society.

Calling for greater participation from India’s middle class, the actor stated that for too long ordinary citizens have remained distant from positions of influence, allowing power to circulate among a limited group of people. He urged people from all professions to build their skills, strengthen their education, expand their networks, and pursue leadership with patience and integrity.

Bhowmik also highlighted the realities of a capitalist society, suggesting that financial independence and influence play a significant role in creating opportunities for change. However, he emphasized that ambition should always be accompanied by honesty and responsibility toward the country.

Concluding his message, the actor encouraged citizens to remain patient even if change does not happen immediately. He said that perseverance, hard work, and commitment to honest values would eventually produce lasting results. Ending with the words “Break The Chain! Enough is Enough,” Bhowmik appealed to the younger generation to trust themselves, stay honest, and work collectively toward rewriting existing norms for a better future.
